My Olay 28 Day Challenge Results

Hey guys! It’s been a minute since I’ve posted anything beauty related, so I thought what better way to bring it on back than by sharing my Olay 28 Day Challenge results! If you’ve been following along with me on Instagram over the past month, you may know that I started this challenge last month to see if I could get my skin back on track after the toll it took while traveling from country to country. All I had to do? Replace my extensive skincare regimen with just 2 products: Olay’s Total Effects 7-In-One Moisturizer with SPF 15 and the Olay Eyes Deep Hydrating Eye Gel for 28 days straight. It sounds easy enough, right? But would this simple routine actually make a noticeable difference to my skin? Let’s start from the beginning:

The day before I started the challenge, I took these photos of my skin to document my starting point. I gotta admit, these were hard for me to take. After a month of traveling Europe which consisted of stuffy plane air, eating out everyday and enjoying wine, my skin was basically screaming at me to give her some TLC! I ran out of my travel-sized moisturizer halfway through the trip, so my “routine” basically consisted of makeup remover and…well, that’s about it. I was ready for all the help I could get.

OLAY 28 DAY CHALLENGE DAY 7

Let’s start off with Olay Total Effects 7-In-One Moisturizer with SPF 15. I loved the compact bottle which distributed just the right amount of product (I only needed 1 pump for my entire face). It’s packed with vitamins guys; one pump has as much B3 as 50 CUPS OF KALE! Move over salads!! It also has Vitamin E and Green Tea Extract which are powerful antioxidants that protect the skin against free radical damage.

After the first 7 days of the challenge, I noticed my typically dry skin was feeling a lot softer and more hydrated overall. My skin was looking less dull, and I was loving how EASY this routine was! No matter how tired I was at the end of the day, I was more than willing to do my skincare routine since it was no longer a task, ya feel?

OLAY 28 DAY CHALLENGE DAY 14

The other all-star product featured in this challenge is the Olay Eyes Deep Hydrating Eye Gel. Okay, this stuff is awesome. First of all, it’s this pretty blue color, and it’s a gel consistency which makes it SO much fun to apply! It’s so bouncy, and feels so cooling and hydrating thanks to the Hyaluronic Acid and Cucumber Extract. It’s also formulated with Pro-vitamin B5 and Witch Hazel (one of my fav ingredients ever) which are known for their healing properties to regenerate the delicate skin under the eye. From day 1 I noticed how quickly it absorbed into my skin, which was unlike most eye products I’ve tried. I loved this because I didn’t have to wait long to apply my makeup!

2 weeks into the challenge, I was in such a rhythm with my skincare routine, and I loved how it made my skin feel. My skin was still looking hydrated and glowy, but now I started to notice my skin’s texture was also improving! I never used to pay attention to things like my skin’s texture, but ever since I started breaking out over the last 2 years, texture has played a key roll in my journey for clear skin. I think it definitely had to do with the SPF protection and antioxidants I was receiving from the Olay Moisturizer. Whatever it was, it was doing me well and I was INTO IT.

OLAY 28 DAY CHALLENGE DAY 28

We’ve made it to the end of the Olay 28 Day Challenge! I honestly can’t believe it. I’ve never been good at consistency when it comes to my skincare, and this was definitely the longest I’ve ever stuck to one routine. I’m always trying new products, so the simplicity factor alone was a nice change for me!

My skin was quite literally rough when I started this challenge, so it’s crazy for me to visibly see the changes its made in just 28 days. My fine lines look less apparent (especially my smile lines) and my makeup goes on so much smoother since I don’t have dry patches anymore. I’ve also noticed my makeup looks less cakey under my eyes throughout the day since they’re more hydrated. I’m sad the challenge has come to an end, but now I’m already looking for more Olay skincare products to try! You can find them at most drugstores, Ulta, and even online! These products are affordable and accessible, so if your skin needs a reboot, take the #Olay28Day Challenge and share your results with me!!

Have you used Olay skincare? What are your favorite products?
